all work & no play makes jack a dull boy

u guys must have heard the proverb above. its kinda true in the IT world. (for me la.hehe) an ex colleague of mine told me about the team lead she's having. yeah, i've experienced it before dude. but heck, rules are meant to be broken anyway. she told me that her team lead just laid the ground rules for her work environment. she was told that she can't chat or even surf the net.damn!! this is pretty dull environment and only a dull person can work like this. haha your TL is dull person.. let me say this, when your workin in a IT company or whatsoever IT department or sector. internet and its functionalities is a necessities..for the internet, you have to search for forums and websites for articles and helpings to help out your work. for instance, im in the SAP industry, there are somethings that you or even your colleagues can't really solve the matter. but, the problem might be happening to someone else on the corner of the world, and the person might be posted the solution on the forums or anywhere. there you have it, easy way of solving your own tasks. another thing, chat softwares such as YM, msn, icq, skype or whatsoever, is not really for chatting. its also a medium to share infos and help out each other in their line of field.
so, when my friend told me about her TL doing this. one thing came up on my mind. your TL is internet-illiterate. hahahhahahahaaha
